Navayana Book Club is now a part of the Navayana Trust, registered in Pondicherry as a public charitable trust. Donors (from India) are required to provide their Pan Number, full postal address, email and telephone/ mobile number. Membership to the Navayana Book Club is open only to individuals. General donations to Navayana Trust are also welcome. Membership fee is a non-refundable, one-time payment. Each title published shall automatically reach Book Club members and Navayana donors. Handling and postage are free for all members.

Overseas members shall however make remittances to Navayana Publishing and not to Navayana Trust. Postage being a huge expense, books shall be despatched to overseas members of both categories by ordinary airmail. Overseas membership costs are high owing to postage that is factored into the donation.
