“A seething manifesto”

Aditya Mani Jha is all praise for Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt in The Sunday Guardian. Chris Hedges and Joe Sacco’s work is described as a critical deconstruction of America’s ‘sacrifice zones’, revealing a society in ferment, with no time for those left behind.

There is also a word for Navayana’s efforts for bringing this gem to Indian bookshops.  The reviewer quotes from our About page to say this stems from an understanding that “the struggle against caste cannot happen in isolation from other struggles for justice and equality”. In this light, Jha declares Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt a perfect choice to publish—and to read.
